I came across it again while doing some online shopping over this snowy weekend, and had to share!
What an amazing time we had during this live segment for ATLANTA PLUGGED IN! We arrived early, but only had a very short window of time on-set after the noon news concluded to set up and get the table-top display and mannequins camera-ready. I’m so glad I chose a dress that required no second-guessing on its look or fit.
I will be honest: I RARELY wear sleeveless dresses or tops during the day at the office. Though I like them in magazine photos, I find that either the chilly office temperature or the serious, ultra-focused situation at work requires a blazer.
I am a huge fan of blazers, and literally have more than twenty black blazers in my closet right at this moment! I have everything from the long, scrunchable-sleeve boyfriend style to moto-length to pantsuit jackets in my personal inventory.
After doing several TV segments, however, I have come to the realization that sleeveless CAN be a flattering look in the right situation. It’s honestly a look that I need to embrace more often, and not just in the summer.
This Ellen Tracy sleeveless dress is one of my favorites, and I own it in two colors. It is cute and stylish, is appropriate on CEOs of every profession, and is also very proper at the same time. In my opinion, it runs slightly large, so you may wish to size down. This dress is very comfortable during situations when all eyes are on you!
I was shopping www.Nordstrom.com this weekend, and the dress popped up in the “People Also Viewed” recommendations.
